FACT (Forensic Assessment Consultation & Training) was established in 2006 as an organisation that offers training and support to social workers in the field of forensic investigations into allegations of abuse. Since 2006, FACT has grown to offer an array of specialised training courses equipping those who work with children and families. We have trained social workers across the country, including social workers in private practice, from NPO’s, and those from government organisations such as the Department of Social Development and the South African Police Service. 

Over the years we have come to realise the need for training that is accessible to all social service professionals across South Africa, and we are therefore committed to providing evidence based accredited training with the goal of enhancing the quality of practice and support to professionals in the social service sector.
